Smith Rock is a volcanic formation located in the Bend Oregon area. The rocks are a popular site for rock climbers. Smith Rock State Park is a state park located in central Oregon's high desert near the towns of Redmond and Terrebonne.
About Richard Ferguson
Artist, illustrator, designer, sculptor, and Photographer. Richard is a graduate of The University of Southern Miss, where he earned a BFA in drawing and painting. His career started in Newspaper (Editor, AD), Magazine, Advertising, and Retail AD. He is the President of Ferguson Fine Arts and Flint Films. He has designed books, magazines and catalogs as well as illustrating The award winning book, Christmas Traditions and Legends. He has always drawn and painted. After years of learning the techniques of the old masters from old manuscripts, he changed his painting style to reflect his commitment to realism. In 2001, he took a class in sculpture and found not only he had a talent for it, but enjoyed it in a way he never had painting....
